Polaris Game Convention in Hamburg

Twitch Gameplay & Interview with indiestrolche

At the Polaris Game Convention in Hamburg, the lovely Twitch streamer duo indiestrolche – that is Utz & Shawna – were playing Nicely Dicely and having a great talk (in German) with Daniel about the game's development, Virtual Reality and the Metaverse.

Local Multiplayer Party Game
with Stereo 3D Mode

Nicely Dicely

Nicely Dicely is a fun local multiplayer game based on physics, for up to four simultaneous players. You can decide, if you want to compete against all other players or in teams. Each player controls a player cube on a dynamically changing playing board. There are also passive score cubes, explosive mines and from time to time a mystery crystal, triggering random events on touch. To score, you need to push the other cubes off the board or steal points from other players by paralyzing them.

Nicely Dicely is not yet released as a standalone game, but various demos were already used for Daniel's PhD research, including multiple user studies. The game also provides a stereoscopic 3D mode, to fully immerse the gaming party.
